Mike is an active sort. He has been a martial arts enthusiast since 1974 and also skis and plays golf and softball. Certified by the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, he enjoys power boating around Narragansett Bay and the nearby islands. In quiet moments, he likes to watch old Hollywood sitcoms such as The Three Stooges and The Honeymooners as well as their more modern counterparts from the 60s and 70s.
