Professional Biography
JEFFREY W. KASLE practices primarily in the representation of management in all areas of labor and employment-related matters.
Jeff worked for the law firm of Siegel O’Connor & Kainen in Hartford, CT from 1979 to 1981 and, in 1981, joined the Labor Department of Adler Pollock & Sheehan where he practiced until 1993. Jeff was Chairman of Adler Pollock & Sheehan’s Labor Law Department from 1991 to 1993. In 1993, Jeff was a founding partner in the Providence law firm of St. Peter & Kasle practicing exclusively in the field of public and private sector labor and employment law.
Jeff has had extensive public and private sector experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements, arbitrating various issues in both grievance and interest arbitration forums, and defending against charges of all types of employment discrimination, as well as providing advice and counsel on a variety of general labor and employment law related issues before federal and state courts on behalf of both public and private employers..
Jeff has taught courses on labor and employment law and participated in seminars on wrongful discharge, drug testing, discrimination, workers’ compensation and other aspects of labor and employment law.

Notable Experience and Recognition
Jeff has regularly been named to Best Lawyers in America in the area of labor relations and employment law defense every year since 1995. Jeff has also been consistently identified in Best Lawyers in New England and Best Lawyers in Rhode Island in the area of labor relations and employment law.
Jeff has taught courses on labor and employment law and regularly lectures in the areas of wrongful discharge, drug testing, discrimination, workers’ compensation and other aspects of labor and employment law.
Jeff received the Rhode island Bar Journal writing award in 1988 for his article on drug testing in Rhode Island.
